Poynton High School is a non-selective academy. It has about 1390 boys and girls aged between 11 and 18. In December 2015 the school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The present school opened in 2018.
This school is a member of The True Learning Partnership. (Glossopdale School and Sixth Form is also a member.)
